AARC President Dan Alcorn: JFK Case Update 2-6-26

Author Larry Hancock and CIA expert Chad Nagle have published a
five part piece on JFK Facts about David Sanchez Morales.  Their piece
describes Morales’ ties to Operation TILT, a June 1963 raid against Cuba
also known as the Bayo-Pawley affair. The operation involved sending a
team into Cuba to remove Soviet personnel who could testify that
missiles remained in Cuba after the Cuban Missile crisis.  The raid was
a joint operation of former US Ambassador William Pawley, the Mafia and
CIA.  In 1994 I testified before the Assassination Records Review Board (Click HERE) about
this raid, and ARRB was able to obtain an after action report filed by
CIA participant Rip Robertson, who reported that the raid had some other
purpose that he was not able to uncover.

William Pawley was a member of the four member Doolittle
Commission created by President Eisenhower in 1954 to review CIA
clandestine operations with a goal of strengthening them. Commission
chairman Gen. James Doolittle was a substantial friend of Texas School
Book Depository building owner D. Harold Byrd. Doolittle served on the
and Kennedy administrations, where he headed the CIA panel.  The
Hancock/Nagle deep dive on Morales ties Morales to senior members of the
national security establishment (Doolittle, Pawley) and the owner of the
Texas School Book Depository building (Byrd).
